Abu Sama, a senior at Southeast Polk High, repeated as boys long jump champion with a third-round leap of 23-6.25 (7.17m) at the 113th Drake Relays at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa. Sama became the first male athlete to secure back-to-back long jump victories at the Drake Relays since 2014-15.
